We are locally rooted and Internationally connected.
The project was initiated at Balasore, Orissa with two local participating schools and mainly from a school that was specially meant for visually impaired students more than a decade ago. Now we extend our help to our beneficiaries through two academic and professional development institutions in Odisha, India, (please see the list below). We support mainstream curricula such as junior/senior, undergrad courses (+3), and graduate degree courses (PG) as well as professional courses such as Certificate of Teaching (CT), Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), Master degree in music, vocational and Instrumentation training. Our financial assistance mainly fulfills their expenses for food and hostel/share accommodation, kits for studies, and hiring a writer for any qualifying tests.
Our local partners and coordinators in India help us tremendously, starting from identifying, and coordinating with the children, all the way to making sure the fund reaches the children on time and in its proper utilization.
