Light Beyond Vision (Employer ID no. 92-2632925) is a non-profit, public charity organization with federal Income Tax Exempt status under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) registered in the USA.
We, the LBV board of directors and well-wishers are a team of volunteer, join our heart and hand to help visually impaired and economically challenged students, providing financial assistance for the fulfillment of their academic and professional goals, creating training and employment opportunities, thus empowering them to be a part of mainstream society with due respect, and acceptance with equality. We aim to Service with love, compassion, dedication, and determination to make changes in those children’s life.
Currently, we provide assistance to 45 students and wish to rapidly expand our help to most needed children in the waiting list.
100% of all expenditures goes toward program services. All board members work with no financial benefits.

Our donation page allows donors to donate online, a receipt will be sent to the donor automatically from the portal. In case the receipt is not delivered, please send us an email so we can work on it quickly. We encourage our donors to use on-line donation option. However, if it is convenient for you to send a check, and mark payable “Light Beyond Vision” to the following address, we will send you an electronic receipt. If you wish your gift to be allocated to a particular program, please include this information in the memo line.

Yes, but we only accept donations in U.S. dollars. If you live outside the US, your donation will be charged in US dollars, and you will receive a mailed acknowledgement from Light Beyond Vision. These contributions are tax-deductible in the US. However, if you live outside the US, you will need to consult with your tax advisor to determine if it is tax deductible in your country.

We encourage all our donors to be in touch (by phone) with their respective students on a personal level. Our local associate in India schedules a conference phone call convenient to our donors and students. If time/situation permits our associate would be delighted to arrange an in-person meeting between a donor and the respective student. This encourages each student great extent and also helps to establish a new line of communication between donors and receivers.
