Dr. Gita Mohanty, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Biology in USA, from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB), India, and post-doctorate from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, in Environmental Science and Engineering.
She initiated this project with the inspiration she drew from her noble parents, who were involved consistently in the service of visually impaired schools, which were run with the help of locals. Continuous interactions and several visits to those schools made her realise the urgent needs of support for the visually impaired and economically challenged students. She is determined to bring a sustainable change in their lives by supporting their college and university educations and enabling them for self-sustenance and also facilitating them to live a dignified life, which is the fundamental right of every human being. She took this objective as her moral and social responsibility.
Light Beyond Vision (LBV) is her brainchild and very close to her heart and soul. Compassion is her passion. She is also passionate about writing poetry, creative interaction, photography of nature, painting and reading philosophy. She blends science, literature, philosophy and divinity, well in her life and social responsibilities in a much harmonious manner. She has taken social services and philanthropic activities as the true religion of her life.

Dr. Rashmita Sahoo, a Scientist, over a decade in London, is passionate about sharing thoughts and being a supporting hand through leadership and compassion for any worthy cause. She holds Ph.D. from IHBT, CSIR, India and Post Doc from School of Medicine, University of Louisville, KY, USA, and MBA from UK. Her belief lies in educating and making a self-independent and confident child is foundation of a wealthier and happier society.

Dr. Sudipta Mohanty, Ph.D. in Chemistry is a material scientist having 25 years of experience in R&D, internationally. Passionate about innovation in science and technology for the welfare of humans and the environment. I belief “The World is One family”, all of us are the manifestations of the single cosmic consciousness.

Mr. Arabindakshaya Mishra, a Pharmacist from Rourkela, Odisha. Currently residing in New Jersey. For the last three decades he has been volunteering for different charitable organisations in the East coast area.

Mr. Surya Padhi, a Chartered Accountant (India) and Enrolled Agent (USA) with over a decade of experience in the United States, is enthusiastic about financial and tax planning.
Surya Padhi resides with his family in New Jersey, United States, where he is actively involved in numerous community activities.

Ms. Susangita Behera, The Coordinator, India, who directly interacts with the students for taking care of their needs and supports the students in various ways. She is a young, motivated, Sanskrit graduate (Gold Medallist) from Ramadevi Women’s University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. As a Sanskrit Honers student she strongly believes in service and upholding the values of life.
